Our detached home is directly adjacent to the park and centrally located in Golden Hill / South Park with shops and restaurants in walking distance. The space
Relax. This home has been beautifully decorated with simple, clean furnishings and is ready to offer you a wonderful stay while visiting San Diego. Our family lived here for 6 years before relocating. It is a cozy space around 800 sq. ft, but has everything you will need with a great outdoor area and park next door.
Guest access
Guests will access the home with a keypad code sent before check-in. The kitchen is fully equipped (microwave, toaster, coffee maker, fridge) and stocked with basics for cooking. The TV connects Netflix and other streaming services. The private yard has a covered porch and patio furniture. Kids will enjoy playing in their own clubhouse. Free onsite laundry is available There are 3 beds in the 3 rooms. Two queen sized beds and twin sleeper chair in the office. Photos are available in the listing.
Other details
We are in the flight path of San Diego Airport. There are planes flying at all times of the day and night. The planes do cause the occasional conversation interruption during peak hours while you are outside, but noise is minimal inside the home with the windows closed.
Interaction with guests
You will have exclusive access to the home during your stay. We are usually in Los Angeles, so unlikely to meet during your stay. Your neighbors in the front house are also Airbnb guests. Feel free to say hello :-). Make sure to stop by and say hi to Farmer Doug. He often has veggies to share. If you are unable to locate the residence, please contact us by phone immediately.

Neighborhood overview
Location, Location, Location! This home is centrally located adjacent to the historic San Diego neighborhoods of Golden Hill and South Park. A short walk North-East will take you to the wonderful shops in South Park (search South Park SD) Heading West towards 25th street will feature delicious pizza at Luigi's, coffee at Krakatoa, and others stores. The world famous San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park is only 5 minutes away. The park directly adjacent to the house is popular for picnics, sunbathing, pickup sports, and features some great climbing trees. Traveling with children or dogs? There are two playgrounds in walking distance and a full-sized dog park at Grape Street within 10 minute walk. If you're interested in trail jogging/walking, there are great options nearby (search "Balboa Park Hiking and Biking Trails"). We're closest to Golden Hill. Transit
If you're not driving your own car there are several options to get around. Lyft-Uber-Taxi rides are inexpensive because of the central location. The #2 bus to downtown and North Park is just one block away. If you're feeling more adventurous there is a DecoBike stand 1 block away (search DecoBike San Diego).

The place was super nice, next to a great park. Supermarkets and restaurants all around. For us, it was all we were looking for. We had 2 toddlers with us and they had a great time too! Thanks for your recommendations too Ebraheem! The pizza place was amazing!

We stayed at this cozy little house in San Diego for the weekend, and it worked perfectly for our group of six. The house is small, but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s located right across from a park, but that wasn’t a problem at all—there was no noise or disruption. The house is also in the flight path of the airport, as other reviews mentioned, but the noise inside was minimal and didn’t bother us. Overall, it’s a cute and cozy home, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a simple place to sleep while exploring the city.

Our short stay was relaxing, felt like home, and exactly what we look for when visiting San Diego. The place is next to Balboa Park Golf course and a block away from Starbucks, convenience stores, and food trucks. Our commute to everything we had planned was about a 10min drive. Great trip to SD. this place was perfectly located. lots of restaurants, shopping, and coffee shops all within walking distance. cozy place and lots of room even with my family of 6! i’d come here again

Great spot in the North Park area. Lots of neighborhood restaurants, all within walking distance. Park is unbeatable and really nice set up outside. Living area and bedrooms were tidy and functional, so good for a few singles or maybe a couple or two. Ebraheem was highly responsive and proactive with his instructions. Thanks for hosting us!

Please treat the property as if it were your own. 5) Dogs are allowed and you must indicate it on your reservation. There is an additional $125 Pet Fee. Sorry, no cats (common allergen). 6) No Pets are allowed in the beds or furniture. There is an enclosed yard outside. The clubhouse is only for kids, not pets. 7) Guests should utilize the beds for sleeping. No sleeping on the couch. 8) Do not flush wipes, paper towels, feminine products, of any other type of trash down the toilet. This can cause major sewage blockages at the house. 9) The Host is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities.
